How is it like to live in Montreal for English speakers?

I'm thinking about moving to Montreal, but I don't speak French.
I used to study arts, so it might be great for me to get there.

I am worried about people, jobs, weather,etc...

Montreal is fairly bilingual, and its probably not a bad idea to just learn a bit of the basics in french. The weather is similar to that of Toronto; near water, same winds and snow. But Montreal is a little colder, geographically.
